1. Product Features:

   The following parameters shall be applicable for trading on OPTIX.

a)	Session Parameters	The System is available for trading from 09.00 am to 3.30 pm on all working days from Monday to Friday.
b)	Market Movement Information Parameter (MIBOR and MMFOR Instruments)	(i) Market Movement Information is available to the platform users after each interval of 60 minutes post opening of trading session (09:00 am) i.e., 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. (ii) This information provides Open Vol Rate, High Vol Rate, Low Vol Rate, Last Traded Vol Rate, Weighted Average Vol Rate, Traded Amount and Trade Count during each 60 minutes session.
c)	Order Parameters	(i) Orders of minimum lot size of USD 1 million and in multiples of USD 1 million thereof with a Volatility tick size of 0.01% can be placed on the OPTIX platform (ii) Minimum disclosed quantity is 10% of the total order amount being placed by the trader.

 

2. Instruments available for Trading:

(a) C.L.O.B Screen:

       A user can trade on below mentioned combinations in strategies ranging from Overnight (O/N) to 1 Years having rolling maturities.

The following 40 Instruments consisting of all combinations- 5 Standard Strategies and 8 Tenors ranging from Overnight (O/N) to 1-Years with rolling maturities are available for trading on the C.L.O.B screen of the platform:

(b) Single Option screen:

       On the Single Option screen of the OPTIX platform, traders can place Single Call and Put options orders with any expiration date up to one year. Only options with a delta range between 1 and 80, and the strike corresponding to this delta range, are available for trading on this screen

3. Salient features of the ASTROID platform:

   (i) Market by Order Widget: The best five Bid and Offer orders based on the rate-time priority are displayed.

   (ii) Market by Rate Widget: The best five outstanding Bid and Offer rates and the cumulative quantity of one or more orders at each such best rate are displayed.

   (iii) Market Watch Widget: This widget displays the Strategy or Tenor wise information of all outstanding orders in the Market. It also shows Outstanding order of the users as well as all the market parameters (namely LTV, Net Change, Previous Close, LTA and TTA)

   (iv) Deal Query: Deal Query in OPTIX Analytics displays all the information of trades executed on OPTIX trading platform viz: Strategy Name, Strategy Id, Option Trade Id, Strategy Notional, Option Notional, Strategy Premium, Option Premium, etc.

    (v) Vol Rate Band: Rate band for the member to place an order is set at 200 bps w.r.t the previous day’s closing Vol rate for each instrument. The member user cannot place any orders with the rates exceeding the rate band set by CCDS Admin.

   (vi) Option Exercise Feature: On OPTIX Trading Platform, all the options trades executed on OPTIX trading platform as well as the bilateral options executed between members of Guaranteed Settlement segment with expiration date equal to business date are made available in the Exercise Query Window of OPTIX Analytics and at 11:30 am (Tokyo Cut), such options trades are exercised or expired, depending on the Fixing Rate and the specific Option Strikes.

   (vii)Access: OPTIX Trading platform is a web-based application, which can be accessed over Internet.
